You must be versatile, have a pleasant and outgoing personality, be intelligent and communicative, have a level of honesty and integrity that is beyond reproach and have good language skills. You must be able to communicate fluently in two languages, apart from you native language and English. You must be a team player, since in just about all the work aboard you interact with other crewmembers and guests. It is advantageous if you have practical knowledge of seamanship and boat handling, even if you have earned this knowledge on small watercrafts. Your genuine love for the sea and to be of service is however most important. Apart from your professional knowledge, you should preferable also have other complementary areas where you excel; be it water related sports activities, cooking, waiting, mechanical, electronics, computers, or possibly diesel mechanic knowledge. We put particular emphasis on dual, triple or quadruple functions or skills, since a Megayacht in many ways is similar to a small community and extracurricular skills are always useful. Over and above your special skills, we require you to have a good physique and health, good dental status, not use non-prescription drugs and be a non-smoker. You should not have predispositions for seasickness. Your physique is important as you there may be heavy lifts, climbing everything from ladders to mountains, to canoeing, diving and sailing. Both your body and mind must be focused at all times when you are awake. There are early mornings and late nights, so you must have a flexible body clock. There are certain things that you must be able to:
·	perform your duties under any weather and sea conditions
·	work outdoors in all weather conditions
·	work aloft
·	climb up a ships ladder while the vessel is rolling and/or pitching
·	climb a 30-foot mast
·	throw a line 10 meters (30 feet)
·	be cool, calm and collected under all circumstances
·	be a generally handy person
·	wear and use oxygen-breathing apparatus in case of an emergency
Crewing on a Megayacht requires you to be away from home for months on end. It is difficult to keep personal relationships going and you must consider this before you apply. Most crew members in the industry are single, or couples working together. As we seek the very best and able crew members, we specifically invite applications from qualified applicants irrespective of ethnic background, sexual orientation, etc – in fact, we encourage it. Some points to keep in mind:
·	We are a company in the making, consequently we do not have a track record.
·	We are owned by a small number of individual investors that require the very best achievements and return on investment.
·	We operate worldwide, but are registered in George Town in the Cayman Islands, with support offices in the south of England, where you will have your registered home port for legal purposes.
·	Our personnel policy is progressive and we do our utmost to provide you with the tools to succeed and an environment conducive to your maximum performance.
·	We operate our yachts in accordance with the standards set by IMO, SOLAS, MCA and Lloyd's Register.
·	If you do not have the minimum necessary seagoing qualification (STCW95) to work aboard we will assist in obtaining the necessary training to qualify, as well as providing ongoing training.
The cost for basic training, if deemed necessary, will be for your own account, but payment is suspended for up to 5 years, depending on how long you stay with us. After 5 years of continuous employment aboard, these charges are waived. Basic conditions:

·	All employees are employed full time on a permanent basis, apart from some temporary crew like visiting chefs, stewards, pilots, guides and the like.
·	We provide on-board accommodation, in air-conditioned single or double cabins depending on position with full facilities.
·	The working days on board can be very long, but so can the shore leave in between cruises. The average operational time is 45 weeks per year.
·	You will be subject to random drug testing.
